There has been tremendous advancement in digital textile printing solutions over recent years. Once again, AATCC and [TC]² have partnered to provide an update on the state of technology, processes and applications for this rapidly emerging technology area. Join us for a one hour webinar on Monday, July 11th at 12:00 pm (EDT) when participants will hear from the applications side regarding growing opportunities in the digital print area. The discussion will also highlight challenges and strategies for linking digital sampling to printed textile production.

Mary Ankeny, Cotton Incorporated
Mary Ankeny serves as Director, Dyeing Research at Cotton Incorporated where the focus is on preparation, dyeing, printing and sustainable wet processing technology.  Mary has held various research positions within Cotton Incorporated since joining the company in 1995.  Prior to working at Cotton Incorporated, Mary was employed with Amoco Fabrics and Fibers as a Research Engineer in the Nonwovens Group.  Mary holds a B.S. in Textile Engineering from Philadelphia University and an MS in Textile Technology from the Institute of Textile Technology.  Mary has been an active member of AATCC since 1995 and is currently secretary of  RA80, Printing Technology.

Richard Malachowski
Richard (Rich) Malachowski graduated with a BA in chemistry from Providence College followed by an MBA from the same institution. He spent his entire career at Cranston Print Works, beginning in 1974 and recently retiring after 35 years with the company. Rich has served as a member of the Advisory Board to the University of Rhode Island department of textiles, merchandising, and design, and is currently a part-time faculty member of that department.

A member of AATCC since 1975, Rich is active with AATCC on local, regional, and international levels. He is currently a board member representing the New England Region and chair of the Membership Committee. He also serves on RA80, Printing Technology. Rich has deep experience in textile engraving and printing, including analog and digital printing techniques.

Chris Moore, Strada Verde
Chris Moore has been involved with digital textile printing for over 17 years. He originally came from a production printing background. He helped create and managed Stork’s New York office for digital sales and sampling. He then became the Director of Digital Printing Operations at S. Edwards (a swimwear design converter). He is familiar with both the technology behind and the application of digital textile printing. He currently owns and operates Strada Verde, a digital textile company. He joins the webinar panel to provide insight into challenges and opportunities for technology adoption.
